Directions

Cut your side opening card base from Pretty Peacock card stock, 21cm x 14.95cm (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″). Score in the center at 10.5cm (4-1/4″).

Cut a card liner out of the very vanilla card stock, 10cm x 14.4cm (4″ x 5-1/4″). Decorate if desired.

Cut two pieces of adhesive sheet approximately 9cm x 12cm (3-1/2″ x 5″).

Using the gold foil cut one piece, 9cm x 12cm (3-1/2″ x 5″). Peel off the backing paper (the side with the backing sectioned off) and stick to the back of the gold foil.

Repeat using the very vanilla card stock, 9cm x 12cm (3-1/2″ x 5″). Sticking the second piece of adhesive sheet to the back side.

Run each of the two adhesive backed pieces through the Cut & Emboss machine using the largest oval die. (see photo)

Carefully remove the cut out pieces.

Save the vanilla die cut for another project. We will use the center piece only on this card. You can also set aside the center piece of the gold die cut for later.

Stamp your greeting onto the center vanilla piece using the Pretty Peacock Stampin Pad.

Remove the backing from the gold die cut and carefully place down on your card. The position will be slightly lower and slightly right of center. Next remove the backing from the vanilla piece and place down in the center of the gold die cut, matching up the edges.

Using dies from the set and the coordinating piece of Forever Love Designer Series Paper cut out the large triple rose and and two of the leaf fronds. From a scrap of Pretty Peacock die cut two of the solid coordinating leaf fronds. From the center scrap of the gold foil cut one of the tri-leaves. (The photo shows more pieces than I ended up using.)

Assemble the die cuts separately creating a single bundle. Place onto your card (see finished photo above) using stampin dimensionals to raise the bundle up.

Tie a bow with the Pretty Peacock & Gold 3/8″ ribbon and using a glue dot adhere it to your card below the greeting.

Adhere your lining to the inside of the card and you are done!

Thank you for reading this blog. I hope you enjoyed this simple card. Instead of a fancy fold I used the die cuts to create an elegant focus.
