Directions
Card Base
Cut a half sheet card base, 21cm x 14.85cm (8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″).
Score at 3cm (1-1/4″) and 10.5cm (4-1/4″).
Fold the card base in half on the 10.5cm (4-1/4″) score line. Fold the 3cm (1-1/4″) back onto the front of the card face.
Cut a card liner from the light colored card stock, measuring 7cm x 14.35cm (2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″). This is not necessary if you are using a white or light colored card base.
Cut two pieces of Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper. The first one, for the front, cut to 7cm x 14.35cm (2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″). The second for the right side of the inside card (that shows because of the folded back piece) is cut to 3cm x 14.32cm (1-1/4″ x 5-1/4″).
Card 1

Die cut out the leaf motif from the center of the folded flap of the card front.
Glue the 7cm x 14.35cm (2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″) piece of DSP onto the front of the card leaving an equal border of card base showing all the way around. Fold the flap down over the DSP and glue flat.
Glue the smaller piece of DSP to the right side of the inside of the card and glue the card liner beside it. Butting up the papers so there are no gaps of card stock showing.
Tie a piece of the Shy Shamrock ribbon around the front of the card just catching and covering the edge of the folded back flap. Finish with a bow and embellishments.
Card 2

Die cut the hearts and dots strip from the back folded flap of the card front.
Glue the 7cm x 14.35cm (2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″) piece of DSP onto the front of the card leaving an equal border of card base showing all the way around. Fold the flap down over the DSP and place glue on the top and bottom only of the flap so that when glued closed it forms a pocket.
Die cut the hearts and dots strip from the narrow piece of DSP. Save the cut out hearts.
Glue the die cut smaller piece of DSP to the right side of the inside of the card and glue the card liner beside it. Butting up the papers so there are no gaps of card stock showing.

To make the tag cut a piece Poppy Parade card stock to 6.5cm x 8.5cm (2-1/2″ x 3-1/4″) to act as a base or mat layer. From the left corner measure down from the top and make a small mark 2cm (3/4″), now measure from the left corner toward the center and make another mark at 2cm (3/4″). Draw a line diagonally between the marks and trim the corner away. Repeat on the right side of the rectangle. See Diagram.
For the tag top layer cut a rectangle out of the Lemon Lolly card stock to 6cm x 8.5cm (2-1/4″ x 3-1/4″). Using removable tape, tape this rectangle to the Poppy Parade rectangle, leave 2.5cm (1/8″) of the Poppy Parade showing on each side. Move the rectangle up so that 5cm (1/4″) of the Poppy Parade shows on the bottom. (See diagram) The top will overhang off the top edge of the Poppy Parade piece.
Flip the tag over and trace a line around the top edges of the Poppy Parade tag onto the Lemon Lolly rectangle. Cut along the lines and remove the top excess Lemon Lolly card stock. Remove the tape and you should be able to slide the Lemon Lolly top down and have a small 2.5cm (1/8″) border showing all the way around. Be aware that you may need to trim away a little more of the Lemon Lolly from the top edge, I had to so this on a couple of my samples.
The tag is stamped with one of the sentiments and the small heart from the Fancy Borders stamp I glued some of the hearts left over from die cutting the DSP in a previous step.
I used the D shaped punch from the Tags of Thanks bundle to punch a hole in the tag.
The tag is finished with a doubled up length of Strawberry Slush baker’s twine from the Pack Your Bags Twine Three Pack.
I hope you enjoyed reading this post and I hope you give one of these cards a try. It is fun to find creative uses for these types of dies. If you do give this a go please post a picture in the comments or on social media and tag me @LoriOthen
