Again this year we present a card sketch for each month and make examples every week. The goal is to provide you with a number of sketches and demonstrate how you can use them to inspire your creativity. I will focus on one sketch a month and show you four different ways to use it. This year I will be using card sketches from the Stampin’Up catalogues among other resources.
This is a double card tutorial using the Queen Bee stamp set. The first card is a fun-fold card made from half a sheet of card stock and incorporating designer series paper. The focal point bee is stamped, heat embossed and colored. The Flower is made using the Petal Park Builder punch. The second card uses an embossed and shaped background with a simple stamped bee and greeting. The Queen Bee stamp set was used to create these cards but the designs can work with any stamp set, any designer paper, and any embossing folder.
